The Flemington-Raritan Regional School District is committed to developing our students' educational technology and information literacy skills, striving for proficiency in not only the Core Curriculum Content Standards, but also the ISTE NETS (National Educational Technology Standards) for students and 21st century skills. Through integration of technology across the curriculum, our district is committed to helping students be prepared for and increasingly technology-oriented workforce. To facilitate success, our district provides educators with with professional development opportunities to foster technology skills for assisting students to achieve such commitments. Furthermore, the Flemington-Raritan Regioanl School District has committed many resources to provide students, teachers, and administrators with access to educational technology tools, as well as supporting necessary infrastructure, in all learning environments, including classrooms and media centers.
Our Technology Vision Statement is as follows:
Students will achieve 21st century skills needed to effectively compete, connect, communicate, and collaborate in a global society by developing a culture of digital citizenship. The school community will use current and emerging technologies to voluntarily and continuously improve and expand their teaching and learning in and away from school.
