Maschio's Food Services is delighted to continue as the food service provider for the Flemington-Raritan Regional School District. Lunch will once again be offered daily at each school and breakfast will be offered at Frances A. Desmares School starting in September.
Meals may be paid for in cash at the checkout line or a check may be sent in on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, or you may chose to use the PayForIt on-line system. Registration for the PayForIt system is now available. Information and instructions on how to sign up for the online system for the 2011-2012 school year will be sent home.
When buying lunch, each student has an account into which money can be applied and will be identified by entering their Personal Identification Number (PIN ) at the checkout so their meal can be accounted for. The PIN is not the child's ID number. All PIN cards are distributed to students on the first day of school in their homeroom.
Any student enrolled last year in the Flemington-Raritan schools, grades 1-7, who had a balance in their account at the end of the school year, will be able to use that money this year even if they changed schools. A student may have a maximum lunch account balance of negative six seventy five. After this negative balance has been reached, if no monies are received, the student will receive an American cheese sandwich, fruit and milk for lunch until all negative balances are resolved. We strongly suggest that you keep in touch with your children (’s) account balances. You may retrieve student balances on-line via the PayForIt (Payforit.net) feature or through the Low Balance letters which are sent home once per week with your student when their account balance reaches -- $2.25 or more (checking of backpacks is strongly recommended).
When submitting a check please make sure it is made payable to Flemington-Raritan Board of Ed, “FRBOE” and include the student's full name and PIN number written clearly on the check. Lunch menus and forms are available on our web site. Be sure to indicate on the Payment Form requests for Lunch, Ala-Carte, or No Snacks. Unless stated otherwise, your student may use the monies in his/her account to buy any items we sell.
