Our district requires parent/guardian permission to use a child’s name or photo in any district publication or video. The state also requires parent/guardian permission to use a child’s name or photo on the Internet; however, our district prohibits the use of children’s names and photos on our web site.
Parents are asked to complete a form granting or denying permission for their child’s name and photo to be used in district publications, videos and the Internet. Once the form is completed the permission will be valid for each the child is enrolled in our district. Should you wish to change your child’s photo permission status, please contact your school’s main office.
Parents and guardians should be mindful of reporters and photographers from local newspapers who visit the schools periodically. Although the district works with them, the district is not responsible for photographs taken and used by these papers either in print or online. If you have questions, please call (908) 284-7566.
