Reading-Fleming hosts creativity challenge
On
October 30, the Reading-Fleming Intermediate School 5th-grade
Stretch students hosted the 2nd Annual Creativity Co-op Challenge. Gifted
and high ability students from East Amwell, Delaware Township, Readington and
RFIS participated in a day of creative problem-solving & camaraderie!
Students were sorted into one of four challenges and spent the morning
developing a solution for their assigned challenge. In the afternoon, the students
presented their solutions to the whole group. Activities included ice
breakers, sketches and skits, project designs and demonstrations. Together,
students worked to brainstorm and communicate with one another, collaborate and
problem-solve. Pictured are
student designs and projects as well as a skit in action. This event was such
a huge success that a second Creativity Co-op Challenge will be offered in the
spring to our 6th-grade Stretch students and will be hosted by the
Readington Middle School.
