    Mrs. Switkes holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rutgers College. She also earned a master’s degree and dual teaching certifications in elementary and special education from the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University. Mrs. Switkes began her teaching career in Piscataway Township as a third-grade teacher. She then transitioned to teaching a self-contained autism class. While teaching in Piscataway, Mrs. Switkes completed her English as a Second Language teaching certification from The College of New Jersey.  Mrs. Switkes also received her principal and supervisor certifications through the Foundation of Educational Administration’s NJ-EXCEL program.
