Fundations Parent Information Packets
Wilson Fundations® is a multisensory and systematic phonics, spelling, and handwriting program that benefits all K-2 students. Fundations is designed as a whole-class, general education program and can be taught in small groups or 1:1 settings for those who need additional practice in order to master these foundational skills.
This resource is designed to provide language to parents as they work to support students in practicing their decoding skills.
Learning to Read with Molly (YouTube Series):
Molly is a Reading and Dyslexia Specialist with over 25 years of experience who has created videos designed to teach people how to read. "Learn to Read" series uses a step-by-step Structured Literacy approach (Orton Gillingham) to teach students. These videos can be used in your classroom but may also be very helpful to share with parents who are eager to help their learners or who are interested in learning more about how children learn to read.
