A Little Bit About Myself

  • Hello!

I grew up in Hunterdon County, and am happy to be a current resident. After graduating from Hunterdon Central Regional High School, I lived outside of Baltimore as I studied English and Visual Arts at Towson University. While volunteering with Art With a Heart, and working with children at afterschool programs, my childhood dream of teaching was rekindled. I completed my undergraduate degree, and entered into a graduate teaching program at Rider University. There I earned my K-6 Teaching Certificate, and continued on to complete a Masters in Reading and Literacy Education.

In 2014, I was hired as an ESL teacher at Desmares School. Since, I have taugh 3rd grade, literacy support, and 2nd grade. It is my third year in 2nd grade and I am excited to get back to school!

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and getting outdoors. I love my dogs, Bandit and Hogan. This spring, a momma cat left me four kittens in our barn. From the top, we have Clover, Boo, Calida, and Yowie. It's been fun taking care of them and watching them grow!
