• About the teacher

    Welcome to 4th Grade! I am so excited to be your teacher this school year. I am a life-long learner and look forward to a school year filled with learning, laughter, fun and excitement. I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees at James Madison University in Virginia. Go Dukes!

    This is my 6th year teaching at Barley Sheaf and my 12th year of teaching overall. It is hard to believe I've been teaching for 12 years already. I guess what they say is true - time flies when you're having fun and love what you do!

    Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I especially love cooking, baking, crafting, traveling and being outdoors. I'm sure you will hear me talk a lot about my two children, Patrick and Oliver! :) 

    I look forward to having each of you be a part of our class this year. Bring your smiling faces because we will have a wonderful year together!
