• Click on the link and follow along as I read this terrific story about a boy named Niko and how he sees his world. Then, look around your world. What inspires you? What interests you? Choose a person, place or thing for the subject of a drawing, but instead of drawing what it looks like, try drawing how it makes you feel. Think about line, shape and color as you work. Try to be like Niko who let his feelings "flit through the open wibndow like a butterfly, flutter down to his stomach, then along his arm and fingers to his pencils, where it would escape onto his paper in a whirlwind of color."

If you post to Artsonia, post it in the 'Niko Draws a Feeling' category.
