Alexander Calder
1898-1976
Alexander Calder was an American artist who was best known for his moving sculptures called mobiles, and giant steel sculptures. He also created a lot of paintings using simple shapes.
Look at his work and see what colors he uses most often. Then, create a drawing in Calder's painting style, using simple shapes and only the primary colors plus black. Outline the shapes in black but remember... USE BLACK LAST!
