Hello! I am Mrs. Liscinsky and I am a First Grade Teacher at Francis A. Desmares Elementary School. This will be my 14th year teaching at Desmares. In 2004, I graduated from The College of New Jersey with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. I taught Third Grade at Desmares for 8 years. Then I taught Math Support to Kindergarten through 4th Grade for 2 years. After that, I took a break from teaching for about 5 years to stay home with my two children. I came back to teaching at Desmares in September, 2020 and I love being back! Once a dolphin, always a dolphin! 

I am married and have two children; Benjamin and Isabella. We also have a dog named Reese and 2 cats named Kion and Shadow. We love to read together as a family every night. Two of my favorite children's authors are Mo Willems and Patricia Polacco. Currently, my kids and I are reading the Harry Potter series. We are on the second book. We also love to play games like Sorry, Uno, Charades, and Chess. This summer we've spent a lot of time swimming in the pool and at the beach. That's a little bit about me.
