2020-2021 Goals

District Goals:

• Continue to educate our children in the best ways possible during this changing and challenging time, developing and enhancing curriculum plans for virtual and in-person learning, and continuing to provide social/emotional support and support for the physical wellbeing for students and staff as these changes take place, with the goal of getting our students back into schools as soon as it is possible to safely and effectively do so.
• Recommend and provide professional development to ensure our staff is as effective as possible in this challenging and changing learning environment.
• Continue to work toward reducing and eliminating inequities within our educational system. This could include professional development, meeting with the equity advisory committee, etc.
• Complete referendum projects on schedule and on budget as conditions permit.

Superintendent Goal:

• Continue to work with the Board to improve effective communication and collaboration between Superintendent and Board. This could include some professional development on Board vs. Superintendent roles, refining Board and Superintendent communication, exploring and clarifying roles in Board governance, etc.

Board Goals:

• Continue to work with the Superintendent to improve effective communication and collaboration between Superintendent and Board. This could include some professional development on Board vs. Superintendent roles, refining Board and Superintendent communication, exploring and clarifying roles in Board governance, etc.
• Support administration and staff as they navigate the changing educational environment as a result of the coronavirus.
• Review and update the Board section of the district website.
• Pursue professional development opportunities including the virtual AC Workshop sessions.
