Hello! My name is Krista Monks. I am thrilled to be the school counselor at FAD! I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master's degree in Counseling. As a school counselor, my role is to promote the academic, social, and emotional development of students. Throughout the school year, I will be delivering classroom lessons on social-emotional learning and meeting with students in small groups and individually. I am also Desmares' Anti-Bullying Specialist, I&RS Coordinator, and 504 Liaison.

My husband and I have a two year old daughter and a five year old border collie. This summer we enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with family!
