Teaching Background

          Welcome to my page! I am so excited to be teaching in my hometown of 10 years! This is my 26th year teaching and most of it has been in academic support. I spent most of my career teaching in an elementary school in North Brunswick Township. I was a fifth grade classroom teacher, a support teacher for literacy and math, as well as the Language Arts Coordinator. I pride myself on providing high-quality, targeted instruction for smaller groups of students.This will be my second year teaching at Robert Hunter Elementary School and I can't wait to meet my students this year!

About Me

      I grew up in Central New Jersey. I was a competitive figure skater for many years; that was my favorite activity! I also played the piano and clarinet and was a proud member of both my high school and college marching bands. I have played my clarinet a few times since I finished college, but I'm a little rusty:) I am married to Mr.St.Thomas, who served our country in the US Navy. I have three wonderful step-daughters, a step-granddaughter who is now in second grade, and one son. My youngest step-daughter just graduated from Rowan University and my son just graduated from Hunterdon Central and is now a freshman at Stockton University. We have a very energetic dog named Brodie who loves to go on walks with me at the park.

Fun Facts

      My son and I have a fish tank with 6 fish in it! My favorite color is purple. I am a Stretch and Flexibility Coach. I love Star Wars and The Nightmare Before Christmas movies. The Denver Broncos is my favorite football team and I have attended three Superbowls! I can also do some of my old figure skating spins and tricks:)
