    Francis A. Desmares School has won the Bronze Award in the Healthier US School Challenge. On October 4, representatives from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the NJ Department of Agriculture attended an All-School Meeting where school officials were presented with the award and a $500 check during the special assembly.

    The supplies for this project were donated by Copper Creek Landscaping of Frenchtown. Our volunteers worked through the hottest days of August and early September to complete this project. Spearheading the work were: Eric and Amy Liszt, Rachel Michaels, Marie Bogroff, Debbie Tyler, Ali Arakelian, and Jackie Fiske. The Buy-a-Brick fundraiser helped support this project.

    Eagle Scout, Adam Bindas completed the shed/greenhouse for the Desmares Garden. 
    It includes a cedar bench for plants.
