Partnering with Hunterdon Health, 4th grade students were able to see and learn about human organs.

Our technology integration specialist works with students to leverage technology in ways that amplify learning, including engaging with experts outside the walls of the classroom.

4th Grade students record morning announcements that are presented in each classroom every morning. These announcements include the Pledge of Allegiance and special videos for each day of the week.

Our PTO has supported grade level programs, including a science program about Forces in Motion for 3rd Grade and a presentation from Eyes of the Wild for 2nd Grade. Brian Lies, an award winning author, recently presented for all grade levels.

Buddy classes meet every month. Older students are paired with younger students for a mentoring focus and to promote school connectedness. Recently, students met with their buddies to create can sculptures that were then donated to the food pantry.

4th Grade students served dinner to RH families. They practiced social skills interacting with the community and took on a leadership role as servers and hosts.

Robert Hunter students collected 326 cereal boxes to create a domino challenge at a whole school meeting. The cereal boxes were then donated to the Flemington Food Pantry.

Robert Hunter Staff collected items and assembled Birthday Bags for the food pantry after school as a staff wide service project. We collected donations as a school throughout February, and staff stayed after school to assemble the bags.

Academic Parent Teacher Teams: Selected students, staff, and families came together twice so far this year to look at student data and learn ways to help accelerate student learning at home.

Robert Hunter welcomed Tango, their new school therapy dog, and his handler, Linda Murphy, at a whole school meeting. Ms. Murphy and Tango will be visiting classrooms, meeting with students, and holding reading sessions in the library.
