Architecture of Music Venues
Over winter break 4th grade stretch students will continue to research their assigned music venues. Be sure to take good notes on the main elements of architecture:
1) Structure: What is it made of? How are those materials used? What shapes do you see? What style of architecture would you categorize it as?
2) Function: Why was it built? What types of performances take place in this venue?
3) Beauty: What artistic principals do you see that appeal to your senses?
Use the document below to access links to information, pictures, and videos of your venue. Feel free to do additional research on your own and use other reliable websites to gain information. You may also use any books you may find in the library at school or in town.
