•      My name is Mrs. Cascio and I am proud to be at Desmares School working with our Dolphins.  This is my 24th year of teaching, the last 11 of which have been for the Flemington Raritan School District, where I taught 3rd grade at Barley Sheaf School and now the Stretch Program here at Desmares.  I started teaching in 1991 in Hillsborough Township, where I taught Transitional Primary, a 1st/2nd grade looping class, and then supported students in reading in grades 1-5.  In between, I spent the most memorable years of my life raising my three amazing daughters!
I love to read, swim, walk, run, bike, play piano, garden, take pictures, play board games, snuggle with my dogs, and watch my girls play sports and participate in their other activities.  My secret passion is singing, but I'm not very good at it!
Like I said, I have three wonderful daughters.  They are 23, 20, and 18.  Their names all begin with the letter G.  Can you guess what they might be?  My oldest is teaching English in Bulgaria this year as part of the Fulbright Scholars program, while my two younger ones are at the Coast Guard Academy in Connecticut.  They are learning to sail and fly while developing their leadership skills.
I'm looking forward to a great year at Desmares and hoping it's our best yet!
