Mrs. Pam Minch
"Who is Mrs. Minch?" Well...let me tell you a little bit about myself. I was raised in Wayne, NJ. In 1995, I graduated from Montclair State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Later, I went on to receive my Master's in Teaching. Right after graduation, I became a 1st grade teacher in West Orange. In 1998, I married my husband Frank. In 2003, our first child was born and I resigned after eight years of teaching. For eleven years, I enjoyed being a stay at home mother. In 2014, I began teaching again as a Kindergarten teacher at Francis A. Desmares.
In 2007, my family moved to Flemington from Basking Ridge. My two children previously attended Francis A. Desmares. Our son, Kevin, is currently a freshman at Seton Hall University and our daughter, Erin, is a junior at Hunterdon Central High School. We also have two adorable guinea pigs, Luna and Lily.
I love the color yellow and anything with sunflowers. (My classroom is decorated with lots of sunflowers.) My hobbies are crocheting, reading, shopping, and doing jigsaw puzzles. I like 80's music and country music. I used to be a very good country line dancer! (In fact, that's how I met Mr. Minch!) I love the smell of vanilla! Tea and iced coffee are my drinks of choice and I have a huge weakness for chocolate and sugar cookies. My favorite restaurants are 55 Main, Panera, and Chimney Rock. Spending time with my family and friends is what I enjoy the most.
