Welcome to Stretch!
Stretch classes meet 3 times in the 6 day cycle for 45 minutes per session. Students are encouraged to foster new perspectives through questioning, discussion, exploration, research, and more. 3rd Graders participate in Instant Challenges and a Main Challenge through the Destination Imagination Program. They generate and evaluate ideas, test possible solutions, assign group roles to help them manage their time, tasks and scoring, and work together to build an original product that goes above and beyond the criteria. Our 4th graders learn about Architecture and Advertising by working with clients, and research a community service project that they launch by year's end.
