• Happy Start of School! I am so excited to begin a new school year and I can't wait until I meet all of you! I am sure you are just as excited and happy to start your 5th grade year, especially in a different school! You will meet so many NEW friends and learn many NEW things!

    I know some of you have been wondering what you will need for G/T Math class, so you can take a look at the list below, or you can wait until we meet and class starts.  We do use a different calculator in class, but you do NOT have to purchase a new calculator. I will include the model number of the calculator for those of you who wish to purchase it. Please browse through the list and maybe you can get a 'jump' on organizing your G/T math items!

    G/T Math Supply List:

    • 1.5 inch 3-Ring Binder with pocket folders (to store class handouts)**

    • Notebook paper

    • Pencils

    • Erasers

    • Marble composition notebook - for our interactive class notebook

    • TI-30XIIS Scientific Calculator

    • Highlighter (optional)

    •  

      Post-it notes (optional)

       ** 1.5'' binders work best as they are small enough to carry around and large enough to hold class notes and handouts. Try to stay away from the big Trapper Keepers or large binders, as they are difficult to carry around and even more difficult to keep neat!
