Weaving How-To's
Students love to weave! It seems like third graders start asking me about it September. Then, once it's here, they just can't get enough. It's super easy, and the classroom atmosphere is very relaxed. It's the one project where students just come in, set up and go. So many students become obsessed with it, that I let them take their looms home to work on them. But with that privilege comes responsibility, so they must bring them back for class.I usually teach it later in the year, and students often tell me how they want to continue weaving over spring break or summer vacation. Those lazy days are perfect for this kind of activity, so I've created some step-by-step videos (below) on how to warp a loom, take a weaving off a loom, and how to create different patterns.Hope you find them helpful.
Happy weaving!

Esperanza usted encuentra servicial.
Tejer feliz!
