• Google Drive and Google Classroom

All students in grade 4 will have a Chromebook for their own use that will be stored and charged in school. Below is some information to help you navigate Google.
With Google Drive, your child is able to create documents, presentations, and spreadsheets. Those files can be edited in school, at home, or anywhere else there is an Internet connection. Students are also able to collaborate with classmates by using the sharing feature. Teachers and classmates can also comment and give feedback on these files.
You can learn more about Google Apps here.

To access your child’s Google Drive, first go here and click the “Sign In” button. Then, have your child sign in with the login and password used at school.

To find and create files on Google Drive click the grid in the upper right corner of the screen that looks like this,   3 x 3 grid
and then click the triangle that looks like this.      google drive
Once you have signed in to Google, you can also access our Google Classroom by clicking here.
Google Classroom  allows me to create and then distribute assignments. The students will open the document, complete it, and then submit their work to me electronically
