Excellence in Community Excellence in Character Excellence in Learning
We should strive for excellence in everything that we do. Everyone is capable of achieving excellence in:
Community: Every day we end our morning announcements with the statement: “Make someone’s day, Reading-Fleming!” This is all about being intentional in doing or saying something to positively impact someone else. Excellence in community is when we are conscientious of the needs of those around us and not centered only upon ourselves.
Character: Excellence in character is exemplified through integrity, honesty, ownership, commitment, flexibility, purpose, balance, and speaking with purpose.
Learning: Excellence in learning takes place when there is a commitment to intellectual growth, mastery, learning from mistakes, being open to new ideas, and problem-solving.
