Ms. Carissa Macay
Athletic Training Room:

Carissa Macay is a current Board of Medical Examiners Licensed and Certified Athletic Trainer in the state of New Jersey. She received her Master of Science in Athletic Training from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, and her Bachelor of Science in Applied Nutrition from the University of Delaware. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Carissa is currently working towards her Doctorate in Athletic Training through Indiana State University's online hybrid program. She spent the last year interning as an Athletic Trainer with Bucknell University’s Football program, as well as their Club Sports (Rugby, Ice Hockey, and Crew). During her summer she worked with Army West Point to help conduct concussion research on all of the active cadets. She has also gained valuable Athletic Training experience with local High Schools and Middle Schools, along with Rutgers and Rider University.
