    About Señorita Smith...

Señorita Smith is currently a Spanish teacher at Reading-Fleming Intermediate School.  I have been teaching in the Flemington-Raritan School District since September 2001.  I am an RFMS graduate and am very excited to be back here teaching.  Before arriving here, I taught grades 1-5 Spanish at Mount Horeb Elementary School in Warren, NJ.  I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Education from Moravian College (now Moravian University) in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.  I earned my Masters Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language through The College of New Jersey in December 2014. While at Moravian, I was a member of Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society for Education and Phi Sigma Iota, International Honor Society for Foreign Languages.

In my spare time, I enjoy computer games, spending time with friends, and singing karaoke.  I am a licensed Zumba Fitness instructor, although I do not actively teach at this time. I also enjoy spending time with my cats, Ivy and Clementine.  I have also spent many summers working at Winnewald Day Camp in Clinton.
