Barley Sheaf will reopen on Wednesday, January 27th. We look forward to welcoming students in Cohort A beginning Wednesday. Please remember to submit your child's Health Screening in the Parent Portal if your student will be in the building.
In an effort to continue maintaining social distancing and minimize student contact, we are implementing a temporary change to the traditional card exchange. This year, with the help of our computer teacher Mrs. Klein, our students will learn new ways to virtually “exchange” Valentine sentiments. Not only will they learn a new skill, this ensures that all students can participate in a safe way. We appreciate your understanding in asking that you do not send Valentine cards in with your child. We appreciate everyone’s efforts to make the Valentine celebrations safe and enjoyable for all of our students.
Barley Sheaf School is closed until January 26 per the recommendation of the Hunterdon County Department of Health. We anticipate Barley Sheaf School reopening for in-person learning on Tuesday, January 26, with Cohort A students returning to the building on that day. Please click the headline above for details
Make your Barley Sheaf child's birthday extra special by wishing him or her a Happy Birthday on the electronic sign in front of the building! Please send an email to Sharon England at firstname.lastname@example.org and include your child's name, birthdate, grade and teacher. A Happy Birthday message with your child's first name will appear on the sign on their special day. The $10 donation can be sent to Barley Sheaf either in your child's backpack or via US mail. Checks should be made out to Barley Sheaf PTO.
