High School Scheduling InformationFor The Class Of 2023Important Dates Regarding High School Scheduling:Week of January 28th, 2019- Hunterdon Central will be mailing passwords and instructions for their on-line scheduling system, ASPEN. If you have not received your password by the following week, please email: email@example.comJanaury 29th 2019- Hunterdon Central offers Honors G&T Art for all incoming freshman. There will be a tryout drawing exam Tuesday morning, January 29th during Blocks 1&2. The test consists of a drawing component and four questions designed to gain insight into the artist’s experience in art. Students are asked to bring printed COPIES of two original piees of art that best demonstrate his/her/their work (the work will not be returned).
Interested students should sign up on the bulletin board outside of Guidance or see Ms. Sewall in C108 with any questions. All 8th grade students are welcome to tryout. Hunterdon Central will be sponsoring an elective fair. Learn about courses in Business Education, Design & Applied Technology, Fine Arts and TV & Radio Broadcasting.February 8th, 2019- Students will receive their course recommendation forms at the end of the school day and bring them home to review. A parent/guardian letter will be included in order to support the high school scheduling process. If there are any concerns or questions regarding the recommendation, please reach out to your child's teacher.February 13th, 2019- Students on teams 8-3 & 8-4 will have a high school scheduling presentation given by the Hunterdon Central's School Counselors. This presentation will take place at JPC during thier tutorial/excel/music block.February 14th, 2019- Students on teams 8-1 & 8-2 will have a high school scheduling presentation given by the Hunterdon Central School Counselors. This presentation will take place at JPC during thier tutorial/excel/music block.February 20th, 2019- Parent/Guardian Program of Study Orientation.
